What we collect on this website
- The company name and number you give us, and what Companies House shows for that number.
- How much you need, what it's for, when you need it, and any short note you add.
- Your name, email address and phone number.
We don't ask for bank statements, home addresses or dates of birth on this website.
Why we use it
To check the business is one we can work with, and to reply to your enquiry. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and on steps you ask us to take before any agreement.
If the business is a sole trader or partnership, we keep only your contact details so we can reply.
If an enquiry is for personal or household borrowing, we decline it and don't keep your contact details.
Who sees it
Itayi Mapuranga, who runs Versoix.
Our service providers, who hold it on our behalf: HubSpot (client records), Microsoft 365 (email), n8n (website form and records), Netlify (website hosting) and Anthropic (Claude, our AI assistant).
Lenders, only after you have signed an engagement letter and agreed to us approaching them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead: 12 months. Clients: 6 years after the case closes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Write to enquiries@versoix.co.uk.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Counting visits
With your permission only, we count page views, form steps reached and checklist downloads. We don't record names, emails, company details or amounts. See cookies.
